Q. What is your Birth Sign?
A. Capricorn

Q. What is your Favourite Colour?
A. Blue and Brown

Q. What is your Favourite Food?
A. Shrimp

Q. How did you decide to become a DJ?
A. I guess my environment at the time and the people I was moving with, that’s where the influence came. I was living on Orange Street and because of the record shops and artistes living around me like Lada Bell and Slim Smith – The Techniques., it was called Beat Street.

Q. What do you like best about this Industry?
A. I like to please the people when I play. I am very happy when people enjoy what I play.

Q. Do you have a favourite Genre or Genres of music?
A. Rock Steady, without a doubt.

Q. What motivates you to do what you do?
A. It’s my love for music. When I say music I say all types of music and I really believe music is my very first love. But there’s a principle and discipline to playing music. I get annoyed when people get unprofessional about how they play music – you must know what to play, when, where, how and for who.

Q. How do you prepare for a show, play out or just a normal day in the studio?
A. Playing at Kool is totally different from playing outside. To play at Kool, I prepare a show but playing outside, you read the mood of the people. There is no preparation for playing outside, you just have to read the mood and understand what they want.

Q. Outside of being a DJ, what else do you find interesting?
A. Second to music, I am an artist. My first profession was sign painting. Second to that I am an accountant.
